How does the storage unit price calculator work?
For each unit size it works out price per square foot and occupancy. Sizes that stay above about 90% occupied get a suggested increase of around 7%. Sizes well below the rest of the site get a suggestion to test a move-in special or a small decrease. Everything else is held.
Is the calculator free?
Yes. It runs in your browser, needs no sign-up, and the numbers you enter are not sent anywhere.
Should I raise rent for existing tenants too?
Street rates only affect new customers. Many operators also review existing tenants once or twice a year, with the notice period their rental agreement and local law require.
Does Unitgrove do this automatically?
